Chitinous Beast

Hi!

Well despite boxing everything up in preparation for a move to a new house, I have managed to sculpt up a bipedal alien of a decidedly chitinous nature:

 Chitin

He's a bit of an experiment to see if its possible to sculpt in 15mm scale using sculpey. The results are quite promising as the beast stands approximately 25mm tall and almost as wide and is sculpted from a combination of super sculpey and kneadite greenstuff.

I have a few more of the little fellows on the go at present but once they are all complete, I will be offering them up for sale to whoever would like to purchase the sculpts for casting.

All the best!

Mechanised Walker Test Sculpt

Hi!

Its been a bit quiet of late as I am both working full time and preparing to move house so most of my materials have been packed away ready for the move. I have managed to sculpt up a quick walker mech though!

Standing about 100mm tall and constructed from some super sculpey, greenstuff and plasticard, its more of a proof of concept and experiment with materials than anything else but it has turned out rather nicely so I will get it painted up once the move is done and post some new pictures when I get chance!

The armoured panels on the head and legs need a detailing and the feet could do with a bit more attention but its not to bad for a couple of hours work of an evening!

All the best!

The Steam Maiden

Hi!

A couple of weeks ago I was approached by the chaps over at ROBOT ENVY and asked to submit some sort of robot for their site and the result is the Steam Maiden!

Steam Maiden

Steam Maiden

 Impressive Pipework!

Dainty Pose!

I had initially intended on producing a small sculpt but went a bit mad and the resulting robot stands about 14-16 inches tall and is constructed out of sculpey and a wide variety of modelling putties.

Its well worth nipping over to Robot Envy for a peek at the impressive collection thats being built up and showcased there too!

All the best!
