Concept Art: Rusty Robots

Morning!

Here's some assorted concept art for my Rusty Robots setting.

The Verdigris Lands are a mysterious moss covered expanse of junk that is inhabited by all manner of strange and interesting robotic life.

I'll be adding some more updates in the next few days, including more robot sculpts so watch this space!

Commission: Rusty Robot Pirate

Hi!

It's been a while since I posted anything but here's a couple of pics of a robotic pirate I was commissioned to make a while back:

 Shiver Me Timbers!

 Ahoy!

For ease of transport and for a bit of variety, I made his hat removable and as a well behaved and mannered pirate bot, he usually removes it when indoors.

I will be posting some more bits and bobs soon so keep your eyes peeled for some egg themed goodness!

All the best!

The Steam Maiden

Hi!

A couple of weeks ago I was approached by the chaps over at ROBOT ENVY and asked to submit some sort of robot for their site and the result is the Steam Maiden!

Steam Maiden

Steam Maiden

 Impressive Pipework!

Dainty Pose!

I had initially intended on producing a small sculpt but went a bit mad and the resulting robot stands about 14-16 inches tall and is constructed out of sculpey and a wide variety of modelling putties.

Its well worth nipping over to Robot Envy for a peek at the impressive collection thats being built up and showcased there too!

All the best!

Standing 70mm tall the Robotic Sidekick is going to be part of a group of half a dozen or so figures that I will be displaying. I will also be posting some more pics over the next few days as I complete stuff!

Fan Art!

Hi!

I've just received a lovely surprise in the form of some new Fan Art!

TWO ONIONS, a nice young chap from Worcester has very kindly produced a rather splendid illustration based on my Blue Pirate Bot!

Pirate Bot by Two Onions!

The Original by me!

I do love the dynamic pose hes given the little fellow and am sorely tempted to have a bash at sculpting an action pose or two based on it! He has a page over on DEVIANT ART and its well worth a peek!

All the best!
