Commission: Alien Invaders

Hi!

Heres a quick pic of my latest commission:

Alien Invasion!

Standing 20mm and 25mm tall, the little fellows were for a one off piece that my client so they wont be getting cast but were rather a lot of fun to sculpt, especially with their bug eyes and over sized death rays!

I will be posting a few more bits and bobs up in the coming days of a decidedly lupine nature too so keep your eyes peeled!

Robots Everywhere...

Hi!

Well its been a really action packed couple of weeks getting the sculpts ready for the exhibition and I must admit I have loved almost every moment of it!

Following on from several conversations with both animators and miniatures manufacturer types I have decided that its about time I set to work on getting my Rusty Robots line up and running!

Trade Envoy WIP

Its been almost three years since the first of my Rusty Robots appeared as part of a university project and since then my obsession has grown and I think its about time I did some serious development of the project which has been bouncing around in my head for quite a while now and hopefully I will be able to do justice to it!

The First of Many

In keeping with this I have started work on getting my RUSTY ROBOTS blog a much needed update and hopefully over the coming weeks I will be able to get to work on fleshing out the background setting and feature lots of new robotic types for folks perusal. With this in mind I don't think I will be able to do as many commissions for folks for a while as I need to concentrate on the project but if you do need anything done urgently please feel free to get in touch!

Dwarf Pirates!

To celebrate the international Talk Like a Pirate Day I recently completed some tiny Dwarven pirate sculpts!

Standing just over 10mm tall the little fellows add a bit of spice to any game and will be going up for sale in November!

Latest Commission: Oggam Pigman

Carnosaurs!

Hi!

A while back I sold some sculpts to CP MODELS and they have cast them up and kindly sent me out a few and I have painted them up!

15mm Scale Matriarch and Guard

Heres a quick pic of some of the stuff I have been working on of late:

The guard is a reworked test piece I did quite some time ago and stands about 15mm tall while the matriarch was built from left over pieces of putty I had from other commissions. They will be getting put up for sale at some point in the next few weeks once I have more stuff finished!

Tiny Pink Robots!

Hi!

What does one do with half a packet of polymer clay of a rather lurid colour? Theres not enough to make a decent sized robot but there is just enough to produce a tiny horde of pink robots instead!

I will be putting the little folks up for sale on Etsy over the weekend but thought I would give folks a bit of a preview here first.

Each robot stands about an inch tall and was surprisingly fun to make. Depending on how this lot sell I may be tempted to make some more in different colours too!

15mm Scale Carnosaurs Available

Hi!

Just a quick update to say that the 15mm scale Carnosaurs that I sculpted a while back are now available from CP MODELS.

In other news, several of my sculpts are also due to go into production from 15mm.co.uk in the near future and I will post an update in the coming weeks as I know more!

Spacecow Is Moving!

Well we have moved to Edinburgh for the next six or so months and after that we are heading for the wilds of Dundee!

Updates may be a tad irregular over the next couple of weeks as we unpack all our stuff but hopefully I will be back to regular work and updates after that and am still more than happy to discuss commissions!

Just a brief message to say both myself and Amy of STEAMPOWERED FISH will be running a model making event at the Hobbycraft store in Havant this Saturday!

Hobbycraft are relaunching their craft store and we have been invited along to showcase our work as well as run a model making workshop which will cover all sorts of bits and bobs including working with sculpey and will give folks the opportunity to make something themselves to take away and keep!

We will have a full selection of our models, prints and even have a robotic portrait service there for sale so please feel free to nip in and say hi and have a peruse of our wares!

 We will be instore from 9am to 3pm.
